My name is Mike and I am the self-published author of two books——The Jeep: A Story of the Virginia Military Institute and The Journal of Gabriel Medard.
I write as a hobby and I do this purely for the enjoyment. Because this doesn't pay the bills, the proceeds from both books go to good causes.
I am a 2001 graduate of the Virginia Military Institute. I live and work in New England but I am currently deployed with the Marines until Spring 2009.
I have been influenced by many writers but my short list of favorites include Craig Clevenger, Chuck Palahniuk, Thomas Harris, Pat Conroy, and Stephen King.
